Welcome to my page! I am Kimberly MacFeggan and I teach 1st Grade. I have been in the teaching profession in one capacity or another since 1989. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Education from the University of Memphis, back then called Memphis State University. Prior to the U of M I attended Louisiana Tech University for three years. I am married with three children, Cory - 28, Caroline - 26, and Kellie - 16. My husband, Kenny, and I have been married for 17 years. I have been teaching at Dogwood Elementary School for the last nine years in third grade (1 year), kindergarten (4 years) and second (3 years), and now 1st (1 year). I previously taught at Collierville United Methodist Preschool (2yr olds and 4 yr olds), Immaculate Conception Catholic School (second - 2 years, looping from second grade to third -1 year), and Highland Oaks Primary School (3 years in kindergarten). I knew I wanted to be teacher since an early age. My goal every year is for each student to feel as though our classroom is a safe place to learn, make mistakes, and discover. I also want the to leave my room with strong love for learning and a deep felt love for school.
